Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all trips and services offered by Eurowaizz, operated by Studigo UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Ederstraße 59, 35390 Gießen, Germany. For ease of reading these Terms and Conditions will be referred to as T&Cs throughout this document.

By making a booking with Eurowaizz you confirm that you have read understood and agreed to these T&Cs. These T&Cs are valid for all bookings made from the date of the last update shown at the bottom of this page.

Throughout this document:

  • “Eurowaizz”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Eurowaizz operated by Studigo UG (haftungsbeschränkt).
  • “You” or “customer” refers to the person making the booking and all participants included in that booking.
  • “Participant” refers to you and anyone else travelling as part of the same booking.

 

Booking and Payment

  1. To secure your spot on any Eurowaizz trip full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept payment through all available payment methods on our website. Your booking is only confirmed once full payment has been successfully received by Eurowaizz or one of our authorized payment partners.
  2. All prices are displayed processed and charged in Euro (€) only. Eurowaizz is not responsible for any currency conversion fees that may be charged by your bank or payment provider.
  3. Once full payment is received your booking is subject to availability and confirmed at the discretion of Eurowaizz. We will reserve your seat on your selected trip. Please note that it is your responsibility as the customer to check that all booking details and travel dates are correct before completing your booking.
  4. After your booking is confirmed Eurowaizz will send you a booking confirmation email containing your unique booking ID. This confirmation is required to participate in your trip and must be presented at the time of boarding along with a valid travel document. Please note that a Eurowaizz representative reserves the right to deny boarding if any booking information is found to be incorrect or in violation of our T&Cs.

Trip Description, Changes and Trip Leader

  1. Unless stated otherwise in the trip description Eurowaizz provides round trip transportation by comfortable rented coach and shared accommodation for the specified number of nights included in your trip. Day trips do not include any accommodation. Accommodation is typically provided in rooms of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8 people depending on the hotel or hostel. Please note that mixed gender rooms are not available — rooms are allocated separately for male and female guests. Room allocation is managed by the Eurowaizz team and is subject to availability.
  2. If you would like to request a specific room type such as a twin or double room please note that this cannot be guaranteed and depends on availability at the accommodation. A private room upgrade may be available for an additional fee. If you do not see the upgrade option on our website please contact us before your trip at info@eurowaizz.com.
  3. Eurowaizz reserves the right to make changes to or cancel any trip due to unexpected or unavoidable circumstances. In the event that Eurowaizz cancels a trip all participants will receive a full refund. Trip descriptions are indicative and details may be adjusted due to circumstances beyond our control.
  4. Every Eurowaizz trip includes a dedicated trip leader who will be with you throughout the journey. Your trip leader is there to help you with the logistics of the trip, assist with hotel check in, answer your questions and give you recommendations on what to see and do. Please note that your trip leader is not a professional tour guide and is not responsible for providing guided sightseeing tours or detailed historical information about destinations.

Weather, Environmental and Political Conditions

  1. Eurowaizz cannot be held responsible for any changes that need to be made due to weather or environmental conditions. Passengers do not have the right to cancel a trip solely due to weather conditions. Only Eurowaizz has the authority to decide whether a trip needs to be cancelled or modified due to weather and will always take the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of all participants.
  2. Eurowaizz cannot be held responsible for any delays or cancellations caused by customs issues, acts of terrorism, political unrest or any other factors beyond our control.
  3. Eurowaizz cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by traffic conditions, mechanical breakdowns or any other circumstances related to the journey that are beyond our reasonable control.

Contracting Parties

  1. The terms and conditions detailed in this document represent the entire agreement between you and Eurowaizz. No other representation, term, warranty or condition expressed or implied through any other writing, advertisement or conversation shall form part of this agreement.
  2. Your contract is directly with Eurowaizz operated by Studigo UG (haftungsbeschränkt). Eurowaizz reserves the right to nominate in writing any other company or person to fulfill some or all of the provisions of this contract as if you had agreed to those provisions directly with that company or person.
  3. Eurowaizz acts as a travel organizer and works directly with coaches, hotels, hostels, boats and other third party service providers to deliver your trip. All bookings made with these carriers and service providers are subject to their own terms and conditions and limitations of liability. Please note that some third party providers may limit or exclude their liability in relation to death, personal injury, delays or loss and damage to baggage. Eurowaizz cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from the actions or omissions of any third party service provider.
  4. By completing your booking and making full payment you confirm that you have read understood and agree to all the terms and conditions set out in this document as well as the terms and conditions of any third party service providers involved in delivering your trip.

Passenger Responsibilities

  1. Travel Documents
    It is your responsibility to ensure you have all necessary valid travel documents at all times during the trip including your passport, visa, travel insurance and any other required documentation. Passports will be checked before boarding. Eurowaizz is not responsible for any departure delays or participant cancellations resulting from missing or invalid documents. Eurowaizz is not responsible if you are refused entry to any country due to incorrect or missing documentation. In the case of lost or stolen documents Eurowaizz will try to assist where possible but cannot be held responsible for any additional costs and you will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
  2. Arrival at Departure Point
    It is your responsibility to arrive at the designated departure point on time. All participants must be present at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Eurowaizz is not obligated to wait for late participants and no refund or compensation will be provided if you miss the bus for any reason. Eurowaizz is not responsible for any delays or cancellations of transport you arrange yourself to reach the departure point.
  3. Following Trip Leader Instructions
    All participants are expected to follow the instructions and announcements of the Eurowaizz trip leader throughout the entire trip including being at the bus or meeting points at the given times. Our trip leaders are always accessible during the trip and are there to help you. However please note that participants do not necessarily travel as a group at all times and are responsible for their own activities outside of organized group events.
  4. Laws and Regulations
    All participants must comply with the laws customs and regulations of all countries visited during the trip as well as all rules set out in these T&Cs. In the event of misconduct or violation of any laws or regulations Eurowaizz reserves the right to remove a participant from the trip without any refund. The participant will be responsible for arranging and funding their own return journey.
  5. Minimum Departure Participants
    If fewer than 10 participants are registered from a departure city that departure point may be cancelled. Affected participants will be informed at least 2 days before departure and will be provided with a ticket to the nearest available departure point for the trip.
  6. Disruptive Behavior
    Eurowaizz welcomes all participants and expects everyone to be respectful and considerate towards other travelers. If a participant disrupts the trip or disturbs other participants and does not stop after being warned Eurowaizz reserves the right to immediately remove that participant from the trip. The removed participant will be responsible for all costs related to their return journey and will not be entitled to any refund.
  7. Trip Leader Authority
    There may be times when the Eurowaizz trip leader needs to make decisions for the safety and best interests of the group. By booking with Eurowaizz you agree to comply with the authority and decisions of the trip leader at all times. If in the opinion of the trip leader you are not compatible with the general enjoyment of the group or the smooth running of the trip Eurowaizz reserves the right to remove you from the trip without any refund or compensation.
  8. Personal Belongings
    Eurowaizz is not responsible for any loss damage or theft of your personal belongings under any circumstances. You are solely responsible for taking care of your belongings throughout the entire trip.
  9. Physical Conditions and Special Requirements
    If you have any physical disabilities or special requirements please inform Eurowaizz before booking. Eurowaizz will do its best to accommodate your needs but cannot guarantee the provision of specific services in this regard.
  10. Travel Insurance
    Eurowaizz does not provide travel insurance and strongly recommends that all participants obtain their own comprehensive travel insurance before the trip. This should cover medical expenses cancellation costs personal liability and loss of belongings.
  11. Photography and Videos
    By participating in an Eurowaizz trip you agree that Eurowaizz may take photographs and videos of you during the trip. These images may be used for marketing purposes including on our website social media pages printed materials and promotional videos without any further consent or payment. If you do not wish to appear in any photos or videos please inform your Eurowaizz trip leader or photographer at the start of the trip and make sure to stay out of camera range.

Extra Activities

  1. During your trip Eurowaizz may offer optional extra activities such as boat tours, boat parties, pub crawls and more. These activities are not included in the trip price and are entirely optional.
  2. All extra activities are organized and operated by local third party companies in the destination country. Participants who choose to join any extra activity must comply with the terms and conditions of that local company.
  3. Extra activities can be cancelled up to 14 days before the trip departure date. No refunds or cancellations will be accepted after this deadline has passed.
  4. Activity tickets will be distributed to participants on the day of the activity or at the activity location by your Eurowaizz trip leader.
  5. Once activity tickets have been handed to participants they become the sole responsibility of the participant. No refunds will be issued after tickets have been distributed.
  6. Participants must be present at the designated meeting point at the exact time announced by the Eurowaizz trip leader. If you are not present at the meeting point on time you will not be entitled to any refund or compensation for the missed activity.

Travel Insurance and Financial Protection

  1. Eurowaizz does not provide travel insurance for any participants. It is your own responsibility to ensure you are adequately covered before travelling.
  2. Eurowaizz strongly recommends that all participants obtain their own comprehensive travel insurance before the trip. Your insurance should ideally cover medical expenses, trip cancellation, personal liability, loss of belongings and any other circumstances that may arise during travel.
  3. As a financial guarantee Eurowaizz operated by Studigo UG is registered with a German Guarantee Fund. In the unlikely event of insolvency all participants are fully protected and have the right to receive a complete refund and preserve all their legal rights.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Non-Refundable Bookings
    Any bookings made under discounted fares, promotional prices, sale prices or package deals are non-transferable and non-refundable. Trips issued as donations, sponsorships or prizes are personalized and non-transferable. Vouchers and gift certificates are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  2. Transferring Your Booking to Someone Else
    In general it is possible to transfer your booking to another person subject to availability. A transfer fee will apply for each change made depending on the type of trip: Day trip — €10. Multi-day trip — €20. Cruise or flight trip — €50
  3. Changing Your Departure City
    Subject to availability you may request to change your departure city after booking. The following costs will apply: Any price difference between the original and new departure city A change fee depending on the type of trip: Day trip — €10. Multi-day trip — €20. Cruise or flight trip — €50
  4. Cancellation and Refund Options
    If you choose to cancel your booking please note that all cancellations are irreversible. Two refund options are available: Option A — Voucher Refund You will receive a non-transferable voucher that can be used for future bookings with Eurowaizz. The voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. Any unused balance after this period will automatically expire and cannot be recovered. Option B — Money Refund A refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 working days. You will need to provide the bank account details used for the original payment to receive your refund.

Baggage Allowance

  1. Luggage Allowance Per Person
    Each participant is allowed one piece of luggage and one piece of hand luggage. The following size and weight limits apply:
  2. Hand Luggage: Maximum size: 42cm x 30cm x 18cm. Maximum weight: 6kg
  3. Main Luggage (2 to 3 day trips): Maximum size: 60cm x 40cm x 20cm. Maximum weight: 15kg
  4. Exceptions to the luggage allowance may be considered on a case by case basis and must be agreed upon with Eurowaizz in advance.
  5. Access to Luggage During the Trip
    Any luggage stored in the bus luggage compartment will not be accessible during the journey and can only be retrieved upon arrival at the hotel or hostel. Please make sure you have everything you need for the journey in your hand luggage before departure. Eurowaizz reserves the right to take necessary action if this rule is not followed.
  6. Valuables on the Bus
    While participants may leave their belongings on the bus during the trip we strongly recommend that you keep the following items with you at all times: Passport and travel documents, Electronics, Perfumes and cosmetics, Cash and bank cards and any other valuable items
  7. Eurowaizz cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to belongings left on the bus.
  8. Prohibited Items
    Eurowaizz does not permit the transportation of animals, dangerous goods or illegal items on any of its trips. Any legal consequences arising from carrying prohibited items are the sole responsibility of the participant.
  9. Forgotten or Damaged Items
    Participants are solely responsible for any items that are forgotten or damaged during the trip. Eurowaizz cannot be held liable for any forgotten or damaged belongings under any circumstances.
